Jesus encouraged His followers to make time to spend some quality quiet time with God. So, the secret in trusting God more is to spend more personal time with Him, reading His Word, meditating on it and praying. Learning to trust God comes through spending time with Him. Peace, God’s peace, should encompass our whole being. In the Hebrew peace is “shalom”, it conveys the idea of wholeness, completeness, harmony, and soundness, with our welfare. We find the redeemed remnant reminding us that only God can give peace, and that peace comes from trusting Him.
